Hi Randy, the riding up here is great. I believe it hit 85 degrees up here today and I was on my bike all day. To be honest though I haven't done to much riding. I just got my license this past weekend and I've put about 500 miles on it between work and just riding around town. I joined this site because I dont have to many friend let alone people my age that have bikes so I'm just looking to meet people that love to ride just like I have fallen in love riding my bike
I have heard a bit about this, but can't say for sure. My friends have a whale watch boat, The Second Chance that runs out of the downtown area and they were talking about taking people out to see it. My guess is the best way to get a close up view is by boat, if not, I'd say travel Ocean Avenue and see what you can see near the Bush Compound. Good luck!
i like to ride. weather here sot nice here in march. really did not have a bad winer. looking for a place to travel. the wife and i go some where every year. been here living here in west virigina for 45 years.

Hi Randy, I still ride when I can as long as the gravel driveway is clear and the roads are dry.
Hi Randy, Well..,the wind in my hair, of course! I also have made many new friends while going on runs with the Ridin' Steel folks. They are a great bunch of people doing a lot of good for people in dire need of help and support. I love the power of my Softail and the freedom of the road. I think it's important to bring awareness to the general public to be on the alert and to look twice before making left hand turns and not to tailgate. Come on ladies and guys, post what you love and what's important to you about riding!
Thanks for the welcome, Randy. I've been a passenger for the better part of 35 years and I'm quite comfortable being the navigator...gives me a better opportunity to take in the sights and to snap photos and videos of our bike travels. Don't let me being a passenger give you the impression that I don't care about bike issues or have strong opinions on the things I care about. I've been the secretary to the Bangor Maine H.O.G. Chapter for the past 10 years and I'm in my 4th year as the registration coordinator for the Maine State H.O.G. Rally. I believe that it doesn't matter what you ride (some folks think HD riders are snobs), its just important that you do ride. Riding gives you a different perspective on life and the things that are important to you. I cherish my "biker" friends and like them much more than some of my family! They are always there for me no matter what.
Looks like the 28th for the Double Loop Ride if you are still interested..Please RSVP the event tab so we can get a general headcount. I dont expect but maybe 8-10 bikes but one never knows when the bug hits..lol. Thanks for the interest.. hope to see ya there!

im not sure how a blast would compare,.. as i belive it is a single cylinder,.. but a very nice bike still!!! my whole reasoning behind a buell was i love the look,..and got to have to power and sound!!!
sorry about the delay in responding. i have had it since Nov 2009. so far,.. I LOVE IT!!! i have not had any problems with it as of yet,... but as much as it shakes something is bound to happen,... the thing literally will idle itself across the garage floor when sitting on the kick stand.
