The wife and I were in Bingham over the weekend and stayed at the Bingham Motor Inn. We had three purposes in mind, and that was she was to meet a friend that she went to college with, and then we were going to go to the Halloween party at the Solon Hotel on Saturday night. In between that we were going to walk in to Moxie Falls, we hadn't been there in quite a few years. And just enjoy the area. Well the wife got to visit with her friend and we walked Moxie Falls, and the whole area is just beautiful. Saw snow on the Mt tops. Well Saturday around 1230 I visted the Solon Hotel and had a beer, thought someone might be around decorating or something. But there was only one couple, the bar tender, and I think the owner a big fellow with a beard. No one had any info on the party, so I left. Later when it was time to go the wife was feeling ill, something she ate we suspect and it was raining lions and elephants. So we did not go. Oh well, next time I hope. By the way Maple Woods and Griswolds nice people and good food. My wife being ill had nothing to do with the restaurants, we think it was a packaged item from a store. You folks have a great area to ride in. Oh and on the way home we say two moose on the side of the highway grazing away I will definately come back to that area next year and do some riding.
