The Maine Elks Association "Owie Box" Motorcycle Run on July 17, 2010. To benefit the Maine Children's Cancer Program's . What is an "Owie Box?" It is a place where children and teenagers get to receive an item when they undergo a painful procedure as part of their cancer treatment. May 8, 2010 from 9am to 4pm
The ride will start at the Skowhegan Rite Aid and visit four other locations. There will be Raffles Food and Games . 9am Registration... Ride Starts at 10am. - THANKS! That's so sweet of you. No not quite fixed - but both of us are really itchin' to get out on it again. I'm headed to LA Harley in the morning to assist with the Breastfest event, perhaps we'll see you there? Vicky Blanchette said… - My name is Vicky Blanchette and I am starting a new chapter in Bangor of STAR Touring and RIding (www.startouring.org), open to all brands of motorcycles. We just had a meet and greet this past Saturday, March 20th and about 25 folks showed up to hear more about this chapter. STAR is an international family centered motorcycling association with over 285 chapters worldwide and 65,000 plus members. This is one other STAR chapter in Maine and that is in Portland. I am establishing the Bangor chapter and our Charter Signing event is coming up on April 10th at 2pm at Friend and Friend in Orono, Maine (exit 193) that I hope you can make, if interested.
