Wreaths Across America Spotted in Maine

Today I had the pleasure of seeing Wreaths Across America in person. Twice actually. First in Saco as the convoy was getting on the turnpike and then again as they were leaving the Kittery Trading Post. It was quite a site. Several State and Local police vehicles as an escort. Walmart tractor trailers transporting the wreaths. [...]

New Maine Motorcycle Events Calendar

I created a Maine motorcyle events calendar over at the Maine Biker Network for anyone that wants to see what’s going on. It’s also for people who want to share what’s going on. Everything that I know of will be added to that calendar. Shows, rides, rallies, etc. But I can’t possibly be in the know [...]

New Ridin Steel Show Kicks Ass

There is a new show called Ridin Steel airing Sunday mornings at 11:00 AM on WPME.  This is a series that shows the humanitarian side of Maine bikers and the charitable events we do. Though it’s not produced with the same quality you would see with American Chopper, it’s fun watching what local people are doing [...]

Help Maine Biker Network Help Maine Bikers

This post is directed mostly at Facebook users because so many MBN members also use Facebook. And, because Facebook can be a great way to get information out to many people.

When I first started Maine Biker Network I was really just planning on a website that listed different events that were happening. Things like charity rides and bike nights. Then I thought it would be cool to list all the local motorcycle related businesses we have in Maine.

Then…

Afternoon Jeff,

Actually, I prefer "Buzz".  Just came across your website via the "Hanoi Jane" sandwich article in the Morning Sentinel (today).  I too am a Vet; having spent 24 years riding around in nuclear submarines and another 21 years still working for the government in Bath.  I can remember the Fonda epsidode like it was yesterday.  I enjoy Big G's and am pleased that he changed the name once someone brought it to his attention.  Looking forward to working my way through your website and hooking up for some rides this season.

v/r,

Buzz

Hi Jeff, it was good to see you Sunday at the Swapmeet. I can't remember in our short conversation if I took the time to invite you to this years CABIN FEVER RELIEVER. I hope you'll consider to continue to keep plugging MBN and maybe even pass information packets around at this years Event. It's looking like it's going to be bigger than ever and would like to continue to support you and your site.

Hi Jeff!  Thanks for the welcome.  I'm new here, as you know, so I'm still getting used to the mechanics of the page.  Looking forward to the 2012 riding season, although my bike isn't put up for the winter yet :)
