A posative hook up at Breast fest the administrator of Maine Breast Cancer Coalition wants to share her years of experience with Rick.
They have only a handful of volunteers and have raised over $700,000 in ten years.

Yard sale for the Bandwagon

Some of you are familiar with the Bandwagon and some of you may not be. But as you look through the pages of the website you start to see what we're about, and what we want to accomplish. It's all about helping someone who is stricken with cancer.

In order for us to help someone unlucky enough to be in that situation we have different types of events. It could be a motorcycle run, a dance, or you may see a donation jar at your local restaurant or store. If you see one of these donation jars drop in fifty cents or a dollar or more. It doesn't matter how small or how big a donation is, it all matters.

Today on the other hand we had a yard sale. People donated items to be sold and all the proceeds went to the Bandwagon. Lisa Moore was kind enough to get this organized, and went around collecting the donated items. Lisa and her Mom Carol Moore donated their day as well as Dawn And Rocky Rivard to tend to the yardsale. We had a very good day and raised $483.56 for the Bandwagon.

Thank you to Steve Marois for donating the use of his yard for the sale.

Among the items donated were from

*

Steve Marois (Ridin Steel), Four Wheeler, Bicycle, And other items
*

Cindy and Lance Reny, Approx. Two hundred VHS children's movies
*

Carol Moore, Cookbooks, Assorted kitchenware, and other items
*

Mary Wilkins, Two boys suit jackets,Books, and other items
*

Betty Mitchell, Two tables, silverware, Clothes, and other items

*

Anonymous donor, Two large mirrors, Wallpaper,Lamp, and other items

Thank you to all that donated and all that attended the yard sale today and made it a success.

Yes Dave Stoney is also why I am so driven to make this cause the "Bandwagon" a success. It was his last wish per say and you can tell if you see the video of him making the announcement, he wanted this so bad and was asking us to help him. Yes he was just a regular guy and he DID change a lot of peoples lives, and will continue to do so. Hell I'd like to accomplish just 1% of what he has.
Donations are coming in and the word is getting out there. The Bandwagon thanks you too for all that you are doing to help our cause.
I had a young boy, couldn't have been more than eight years old hear me talking about this cause and wanted to donate his allowance, of coarse I couldn't take the young mans money. But it lifted my spirits to know that even the young children want to make a difference. And the elderly like the 71 year old that donated 30.00 want to make a difference. It just warms my heart.
We may not get as big as some of these other organizations, but you know what We WILL make a difference in peoples lives.

Stoney Dionne is the reason people like me decide to try to make a difference.
Just seeing what one biker, B.I.W. worker, regular guy did to change peoples lives.
And far exceeded anyones expectations. The last time I heard him speak he announced "The Bandwagon". I would like to accomplish 10% of what this man did. And I will donate 10% of any event I organize. If others did just that much it could be as big as his legacy.

The seventy one year old I told you all about ended up sending in a donation of 30.00. Goes to show that people are out there that believe in our cause and want to help. Do you believe in our cause, you can send your donations to: Get on The Bandwagon C/O Reality Productions 80 Bedford Street Bath, ME 04530 And re...member it doesn't matter how small or how large your donation is, your donation matters

Thank you so much Dave. That is a very generous gesture. Breast fest is very lucky to have you. I know it takes a lot to organize a run like that, but in the end it's worth it.
You have a good and check the Bandwagon website as I will post your donation with the others as soon as I hear fr4om Steve.
Once again Thank You very much!
