I seem to remember a post that suggested places to get tires changed that you had bought elsewhere. Now i can't seem to find it. I need tires changed before an upcoming trip to Canada. Looking for suggestions on where to try. I'm in the Portland area and working in Turner for a little bit. Any input appreciated.

Oh and the rear is a 240/40 so I don't dare try to do it myself.

Many months outdates response to your question Jeff.

There are a few Dealers that will offer you On-Line prices (Match what you show them for On-Line price).

Then they will install for Customer prices.

Cumberland County Choppers on Warren Ave, Portland - Will install tires no matter where you bought them for $61, $41 if you bring in just the wheel.

They also mentioned being very competitive with OnLine Prices.

I found this site because I was looking up tires and tire changers, and someone had posted about a guy in Winthrop named Dave who does tires for like $60 or something like that. I guess a lot of places want between $100 and $200 to do it. Not sure why, that is more expensive than getting four tires mounted balanced rotated for a car.

Yeah, here it is...

Scott.. Search Maine Biker Network for Dave/Cross Road Motorcycle and you will find the guy I mentioned.
