does anyone know if theres any laws about having a license plate vertical rather than horizontal? If there is, does it change for an antique bike?

I beleive its supposed to be at the rear most part of the fender and horizontal, but there are plenty of bikes running around with side mount plates.

License Plates per the way the law states is Horizontal so its "properly displayed" and on the rear of the bike, unspecified as to certain location as long as clearly visible from the rear.

sounds like as long as its visible on a bike from behind its fine even if its upside down.
Well as horizontal as the plate would be if it was upside down it still would not be "properly displayed".

i jst lookd at it again, i missed the part where it specifically says horizontal lol

having youre plate sideways on the mounts they sell is illegal and 137$ fine, as ive been told by the S.P. when i asked last weekend....
