Event Description

The Maine Elks Association "Owie Box" Motorcycle Run on July 17, 2010. To benefit the Maine Children's Cancer Program's . What is an "Owie Box?" It is a place where children and teenagers get to receive an item when they undergo a painful procedure as part of their cancer treatment. It may be a toy for the younger children, or an electronic item such as an Ipod for the teenagers. The 8th year that the "Owie Box" Motorcycle Run has been held. Last year, the run raised over $27,000 Dollars for the program.

The run is not just for motorcycles, you can bring your car or truck if you don't ride a motorcycle.

Leaving Augusta approximately 10 AM. Obtain pledge sheets at local cycle shops or call Randy Gerry at 242-2026, Dwayne Guy at 594-7225, Skip Gay at 445-2064, Rod Bauer at 837-4307, or Tom Ammerman at 827-3212.
this is a great time for all, ride will start in Augusta and go to Skowhegan Elks Lodge for light snacks and the on to Old Towns Elks Lodge for a night of Festivities, with a meal @ 6 and entertainment to follow, shuttle busses available to and from Motels,
