Portland, ME – March 29 – It’s crunch time for an exciting effort to raise funds and awareness for breast cancer research and support through the creation of a Maine Breast Cancer specialty license plate for motorcycles – the first motorcycle specialty plate in Maine.
Five hundred registrations for the new plates are needed by the time the Maine State Legislature adjoins in mid April.

It's been quite awhile since I've been on the Maine Biker Network site. Kudos to Jeff Neil for the new look and color upgrades. I see lots more members since my last visit, so the word has been getting out. Not much to report from Washington County these days. Just waiting for Winter to end - even if it was a mild one. I'm interested in knowing if anyone out there runs a yearly iron butt competition within their organization. We are contemplating doing this, but would like some direction from a group already doing it. We are wondering about rules, qualifications, etc.
